The Sanitor is responsible for following proper procedures & specifications while cleaning industrialized equipment to ensure food safety.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Cleaning and maintaining the interior and exterior of the plant, including but not limited to: floors, walls, ceilings, overhead pipes and fixtures as well as the equipment used in the preparation/packaging/transfer of raw materials and finished goods.
Responsible for properly weighing waste and recording it correctly at the end of each shift, per company specifications.
Must pick up all reusable scrap for salvage and properly store it in appropriate containers.
Must pick up all trash inside/outside of the plant, emptying wastebaskets and empty/clean outside ashtrays.
Comply with all company policies, rules & regulations regarding safety, personal hygiene (GMP’s), operational methods and food safety guidelines.
Communicate effectively (verbal and written) with all contacts
Accept and adapt easily to change
Ensure that all activities are consistent with Company Mission Statement
Operate job-related equipment with or without an accommodation

Requirements

High school diploma or GED is preferred and/or a combination of education and relevant experience.
1 - 3 months related experience and/or training is preferred
Bakery experience is a plus
