Summary:

The Sonographer, Maternal Fetal Medicine is a core member of the Maternal Fetal Medicine and Imaging Services team, responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examination for maternal, fetal, and high-risk obstetric patients. This role performs sonographic imaging studies that support the evaluation, diagnosis, monitoring, and care planning of complex pregnancies. This role collaborates with maternal fetal medicine physicians, radiologists, advanced practice providers, nurses, genetic counselors, and other care team members to support safe, accurate, timely, and patient-centered imaging services.

Experience

  • Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program required.

Education

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.  
     

Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification

  • ARDMS certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) required.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
