QA/QC Engineer

We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of QA/QC Engineer in Abu Dhabi. Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor QA/QC procedures for oil & gas projects in accordance with approved project specifications and quality plans.
  
• Conduct inspections of materials, equipment, fabrication, installation, and construction activities.
  
• Review Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Quality Control Plans (QCPs), method statements, drawings, and technical specifications.
  
• Coordinate inspections and testing activities with construction teams, clients, consultants, and third-party inspectors.
  
• Identify quality deviations, issue or track NCRs, and verify corrective and preventive actions.
  
• Maintain inspection reports, quality records, material certificates, test reports, and project documentation.
  
• Monitor contractor and subcontractor activities to ensure compliance with applicable project quality requirements.
  
• Support internal and external quality audits and contribute to project handover documentation.
  

Required Skills

1. QA/QC Inspection: Ability to perform and document inspections across oil & gas project activities.
   
2. ITP/QCP Knowledge: Ability to interpret and implement approved Inspection and Test Plans and Quality Control Plans.
   
3. Quality Documentation: Strong capability in inspection reports, test records, material documentation, and quality dossiers.
   
4. NCR Management: Ability to identify non-conformities and follow corrective actions through closure.
   
5. Oil & Gas Quality Standards: Working knowledge of relevant project specifications, codes, standards, and quality requirements.
   

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management principles.
  
• Exposure to EPC, construction, fabrication, piping, mechanical, or related oil & gas project environments.
  
• Experience coordinating with clients and third-party inspection agencies.
