Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair aerial fiber optic and telecommunications lines and associated equipment.
Inspect existing aerial infrastructure for damage, defects, or upgrade requirements.
Adhere to all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
Collaborate with team members to support project planning and execution.
Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues for residential and commercial customers.
Safely operate aerial lifts, bucket trucks, and other construction equipment.
Complete accurate documentation of installations, repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

High school diploma or GED.
Previous experience as an Aerial Lineman or in a similar telecommunications role.
Knowledge of aerial construction practices and safety procedures.
Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Preferred

Technical certification related to telecommunications or fiber optics.
Commercial Driver's License (CDL).

Physical Requirements

Ability to crouch, kneel, bend, reach, climb, and work in elevated positions.
Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds unassisted.
Ability to use small hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods.

Additional Requirements

Available to work nights, weekends, and on-call schedules as needed.
Willingness to work overtime when required.
Ability and willingness to travel.
Ability to work in all weather conditions.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
