Your Role as a Project ManagerÂ
As a Project Manager, you will lead multifamily construction projects from preconstruction planning through project closeout. You will be responsible for delivering projects on time, within budget, and in alignment with Thompson Thrift’s quality and safety standards.Â
This role partners with field teams, subcontractors, design professionals, and internal stakeholders to manage scope, financial performance, scheduling, and team development. The Project Manager plays a critical role in driving execution excellence and mentoring future construction leaders.Â

Key ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Manage and administer owner contracts, subcontracts, and purchase ordersÂ
- Develop, monitor, and manage project financials, including cost projections, budgets, and invoicingÂ
- Coordinate with local authorities and jurisdictions to support successful project executionÂ
- Provide leadership, communication, and support to Field Staff and project stakeholdersÂ
- Maintain detailed project schedules and collaborate with the Project Management team to meet milestonesÂ
- Conduct site visits to ensure compliance with construction documents, quality standards, and project timelinesÂ
- Mentor and develop team members, preparing them for increased responsibility and leadership rolesÂ

Our Ideal Candidate for this RoleÂ
Education & ExperienceÂ
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related fieldÂ
- Equivalent combinations of education and progressive construction site management experience will be considered, including:Â
- Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of progressive experienceÂ
- Associate’s degree with 8+ years of progressive experienceÂ
- GED with 10+ years of progressive experienceÂ
Skills & AttributesÂ
- Strong expertise in cost accounting, construction methods, scheduling, and project estimatingÂ
- Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsÂ
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while driving accountability and resultsÂ
