Specific Duties Include: Supervise and engage students in structured and unstructured activities Assist with homework support and academic enrichment Plan and lead age-appropriate games, crafts, and enrichment activities Foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive environment for all participants Ensure the safety and well-being of all students at all times Communicate effectively with students, families, and staff Help with daily set-up, clean-up, and organization of program materials Follow all school and program policies and procedures Experience Prior experience working with children in a school, camp, or youth program setting preferred Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years old High school diploma or GED required; some college coursework in education, child development, or related field preferred Schedule Extended day operates every school day from 3:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. Position is open to anyone that can consistently work at least 2 days per week Status: This is a part-time, hourly position Non-benefited position Reports to: Extended Day Manager Compensation: $16.00 - $24.00/hr This position requires a background check and submission of fingerprints to the New York State Education Department.
