Role Description The Superintendent is a full-time, on-site role based in Pompano Beach, FL, responsible for overseeing electrical construction and service projects from planning through completion. This role coordinates daily field activities, assigns tasks to crews, and ensures work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with codes and company standards. The Superintendent reviews plans and specifications, manages materials and equipment needs, and works closely with project managers, general contractors, and inspectors to maintain schedules and resolve issues. Daily responsibilities include conducting site walks, monitoring quality, tracking progress, updating project documentation, and enforcing safety procedures. The role also involves mentoring field team members, supporting performance management, and contributing to continuous improvement of installation and workflow practices.

QualificationsÂ
- Strong electrical construction knowledge, including reading plans, interpreting specifications, and understanding NEC and local code requirements.
- Demonstrated experience supervising field crews, coordinating subcontractors, and managing day-to-day jobsite operations.
- Proficiency with project scheduling, progress tracking, and documentation using digital tools or construction management software.
- Solid understanding of jobsite safety practices, hazard recognition, and compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with clients, general contractors, inspectors, and internal teams.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, solve problems quickly, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced field environment.
- Previous experience as an electrical superintendent, foreperson, or similar leadership role in commercial or multifamily projects preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; ability to work on-site at active construction and service locations.
- Relevant electrical trade certifications or licensure in Florida are a plus; high school diploma or equivalent required, technical or vocational training preferred.
