Clinical Research Coordinator

We are currently looking for a full-time Clinical Research Coordinator, to join our Vision Research team. Some Job Duties May Include:

  • Coordinate clinical research studies under the direction of the Principal Investigator and Vision Research leadership
  • Maintain accurate study documentation, subject records, and source documents
  • Perform study-related procedures in accordance with research protocols, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), ICH, and FDA guidelines
  • Screen, recruit, enroll, and retain study participants while ensuring protocol compliance
  • Collect medical histories, concomitant medications, and study-specific clinical data
  • Enter and maintain study data within sponsor electronic data capture (EDC) systems
  • Prepare for sponsor site visits, audits, and regulatory inspections
  • Assist with Institutional Review Board (IRB) submissions and regulatory documentation
  • Coordinate specimen collection, processing, storage, and shipment as required
  • Communicate with physicians, study sponsors, regulatory agencies, and research participants
  • Support adverse event documentation and follow-up
  • Maintain HIPAA compliance and ensure confidentiality of research participants
  • Assist with scheduling research visits and providing ongoing patient education

Skills/Requirements:

  • Prior clinical research experience or being a Certified Clinical Research Coordinator is preferred 
  • Must demonstrate accurate data entry skills and work within Sponsor Data portals
  • Maintain screening and recruitment logs and either in excel spread sheets or WORD tables 
  • Phlebotomy skills are a plus
  • Prior ophthalmology experience is not required but would be considered a plus.
