ResponsibilitiesĀ
- Read schematics, diagrams, blueprintsĀ in order toĀ perform diagnostic and repairsāÆĀ
- Perform on-site repairs in the field as needed as well as overhead door and dock equipment maintenance if requestedĀ
- Service, repair, install and perform maintenance requests on commercial dock doors, dock equipment, high speed rolling doors, and commercial entry doorsāÆĀ
- Design, fabricate and weld warehouse aftermarket product lineāÆĀ
- Perform maintenance and install EODās, dock levelers, vehicle restraints, scissor lifts, dock seals and shelters, freight lifts and others asĀ requiredāÆĀ
- Knowledge and understanding of warehouse racking systems is a PLUSāÆĀ
- BasicĀ mechanicĀ skills areĀ a mustĀ for job performanceāÆĀ
- Adjust, lay-out, position, align and fit componentsĀ requiredĀ at each job siteĀ
RequirementsĀ andĀ KSAsĀ
- Commercial dock and overhead door experienceĀ preferredĀ
- High school diploma or GED equivalentĀ required
- Proficient fitting and welding from shop blueprintsĀ
- MIG and ARC welding experience preferredĀ
- Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical diagnostics and troubleshootingĀ
- Basic math skillsāÆinvolving measurements and installationsĀ
- Computer and tablet proficientĀ toĀ maintainĀ inventory and work ordersĀ
- Customer Service skillsāÆĀ
- Strong time management skillsāÆĀ
- Self-motivatedĀ
- Valid and Insurable driverās license and the ability to pass a drug screeningĀ
- Ability to continuously lift and bend, climb ladders up to 20ā in height, work on knees for extended periods of time, and proficient operating power toolsĀ
- Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of timeĀ
- Able to sit, stand, push, pull, stoop, bend, kneel crouch, reach, climb, or crawl on aĀ frequentĀ basisĀ
- Ability to liftĀ up-toĀ 50 lbs.Ā
- Able toĀ withstand exposure to hot, cold, wet, or other weather-related conditionsĀ
