SSummary:

This position is responsible for operating and maintaining, modifying and performing routine and emergency repairs on all electrical/electronics and associated mechanical equipment in assigned area.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Takes immediate measures in emergency situations to protect the safety of the public and the company鈥檚 assets.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Performs physical labor related to maintenance of large pumps, motors, and valves.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Follows established procedures for lock-out/tag-out to assure safety.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Maintains, make repairs to and operate equipment for pump stations, pipeline control centers, product terminals and related facilities.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Assist with the operation and evaluation of cathodic protection systems.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Assists in the construction and modification of facilities.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Informs and enforces company rules and regulations on outside pipeline companies and contractors.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Works weekends and respond to 24-hour on call.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ensures compliance with federal and state regulations. Reduces potential risk to public safety and environment and minimizes company liability.聽



Required Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor鈥檚 degree or graduate of a technical school preferred.

Minimum Requirements:聽

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 0 - 5 years of related experience.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 One year of related experience preferred.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Knowledge of systems including: Allen Bradley equipment, Omni flow computers, John Zinc systems, Factory Talk software, Siemens equipment and Systronics systems preferred

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Motor Operated Valve (MOV) calibration and repair experience preferred

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Tubing and fitting installation and repair experience preferred

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Calibration and repair of temperature, level, pressure, meter and prover instrumentation experience preferred

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Has working knowledge of medium and low voltage systems. (480VAC) High power system experience is advantageous

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Valid driver鈥檚 license and clean driving history required.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Eligibility to acquire/hold a valid TWIC card required.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Excellent verbal and written communication skills

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Excellent PC skills, with proficiency in Microsoft products

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Strong attention to detail, with the ability to independently proof work for accuracy
