- Compensation Range: $24.00 - $34.00 / hour depending on experienceÂ
Job Responsibilities
- Primary duty is to ensure that safe practices are followed in all aspects of daily activities Â
- Diagnose / troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues accurately the first timeÂ
- Read schematics, diagrams, blueprints, etc. To assist with repairs and/or diagnostics Â
- Remove, replace, and repair major components of lift trucks, pallet trucks, sweepers/scrubbers, etc. Â
- Perform routine service on equipment including fluid and filter replacements Â
- Perform shop repairs as needed in a fast paced and frequently high stress environment 
- Maintain the premium degree of professionalism and customer satisfaction that Welch Equipment is known for
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
- Additional duties as assignedÂ
Qualifications:Â
- Minimum High School education or GED equivalentÂ
- Proficient mechanical knowledge requiredÂ
- ASE certifications are highly preferredÂ
- Detail oriented, organized, and capable of working efficiently in a high-pressure environment with minimal or no guidanceÂ
- Reasonable level of computer literacy Â
- Impeccable communication skills and the ability to communicate with a wide variety of people and backgroundsÂ
