Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

 Location: Albuquerque, NM
Wage: $40 – $45 per hour

 Overview

Make a lasting impact on children and families! Tresco is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide high-quality speech and language therapy services for clients with developmental disabilities. You’ll also train and mentor families, students, and professionals in communication development and disorders.

 Responsibilities

As an SLP with Tresco, you will:

Plan and implement innovative programs for children and families.

Identify and diagnose communication and oropharyngeal disorders.

Provide habilitation, rehabilitation, and prevention services.

Refer families to appropriate medical or professional resources as needed.

Assist in the development of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs).

Guide parents and professionals in understanding developmental status.

Deliver both center-based and home-based therapy services.

Collaborate as part of an interdisciplinary team using a family-centered approach.

Train parents and professionals through workshops and one-on-one support.

Travel statewide as required for service delivery and training.

Support childcare and child development activities as needed.

 Qualifications

Education: Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

Licensure: Current SLP license from the State of New Mexico.

Certification: Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.

Preferred: Bilingual skills (Spanish).

Other Requirements:

Valid Driver’s License & clean driving record.

Background check & post-offer drug screen.
