Equipment Operator/CDL Class A Truck Driver (Eligible to Drive)

Job Overview:

Primoris Services Corporation is seeking an Equipment Operator/CDL Class A Truck Driver to operate heavy equipment and transport materials to and from various job sites. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient project execution and requires a strong commitment to safety and operational excellence.

Job Responsibilities:**
* Operate a variety of heavy equipment including, but not limited to, excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, and trenchers, in a safe and efficient manner.
* Drive Class A commercial vehicles to transport construction materials, equipment, and other necessary supplies to and from job sites.
* Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on all assigned vehicles and equipment, completing necessary documentation.
* Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment and trucks as needed, reporting any major issues to supervisors.
* Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic laws and regulations, as well as company safety policies and procedures.
* Load and unload materials and equipment, ensuring proper securing and safe handling.
* Maintain accurate daily logs, time sheets, and other required documentation.
* Communicate effectively with supervisors, co-workers, and other personnel on job sites.
* Assist with general labor tasks on job sites when not operating equipment or driving.
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including equipment and vehicles.

Job Qualifications:**
* Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
* Proven experience operating various heavy construction equipment.
* Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check.
* Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures.
* Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and out-of-town travel as required.
* Physical ability to lift heavy objects, stand, walk, and perform other strenuous activities for extended periods in various weather conditions.
