For one of our clients, we are looking for an experienced and responsible Site Supervisor.
Are you technically skilled, hands-on, and confident managing activities on a construction site? We are looking for an experienced Site Supervisor who will be responsible for the daily supervision of construction projects and ensure that work is carried out according to schedule, quality standards, technical specifications, and safety requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
Supervise daily activities on the construction site.
Monitor construction progress and ensure work is performed according to schedule.
Inspect and monitor quality, dimensions, structural work, and finishing.
Ensure work is performed according to technical drawings, specifications, and scopes of work.
Coordinate and monitor contractors and subcontractors.
Identify technical issues, deviations, defects, risks, and potential delays.
Document and report deviations and ensure appropriate follow-up.
Monitor compliance with construction safety regulations and site procedures.
Assist in resolving practical and technical issues on site.
Conduct regular site inspections.
Prepare and maintain daily site reports and progress reports.
Document relevant site activities, delays, developments, and incidents.
Assist with interim inspections and final project handovers.
Prepare, maintain, and follow up on punch lists.
Report project progress, quality concerns, risks, and other important matters to project management.
Maintain professional communication and cooperation with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
Completed MBO- or HBO-level technical education, preferably in Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a comparable technical field.
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in construction supervision, site execution, construction management, or project coordination.
Experience with residential construction, commercial construction, and/or apartment developments.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, building materials, structures, and finishing works.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and scopes of work.
Experience monitoring quality, measurements, and construction progress.
Experience coordinating and monitoring contractors and subcontractors.
Good knowledge of construction safety standards and procedures.
Experience preparing daily reports, progress reports, inspection reports, and handover/punch lists.
Good working knowledge of Google Drive and Microsoft Office applications.
Experience with AutoCAD, project planning software, and/or digital inspection software is considered an advantage.
Languages: English and Dutch, Papiamento and/or Spanish.
Valid driver's license and own transportation.
Willing and physically able to work regularly outdoors and on active construction sites.
Flexible availability when project planning, progress, or site conditions require it.
