SAP EWM Consultant - Contract - Melbourne

We are seeking an experienced SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) Support Consultant toprovide functional and technical support for SAP EWM operations. The role involves incident resolution,system monitoring, user support, and continuous improvement of warehouse processes to ensuresmooth and efficient supply chain operations.

• Provide L2/L3 production support for SAP EWM modules.

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents, service requests, and system issues withinagreed SLAs.

• Support inbound, outbound, internal warehouse, and inventory management processes.

• Monitor EWM queues, IDocs, RF framework, and background jobs.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (MM, SD, PP, TM, BASIS, ABAP) for issue resolution.

• Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive solutions.

• Support system enhancements, configuration changes, and minor developments.

• Prepare and maintain functional documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.

• Assist with testing (unit, integration, UAT) and transport management.

• Support warehouse users, provide training, and handle user queries.

• Participate in cutover activities, go-live, and hypercare support as required.

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP EWM Support (Embedded or Decentralized).

• Good understanding of:

o Warehouse structure and master data

o Inbound & outbound processes

o Internal warehouse processes (putaway, picking, replenishment)

o Physical inventory and cycle counting

• Experience with RF Framework, Handling Units (HU), Wave Management, and ManifestManagement (if applicable).

• Knowledge of integration with S/4HANA (MM, SD, PP).

• Ability to debug and work with ABAP developers for issue resolution

• Familiarity with monitoring tools (/SCWM/MON, SMQ1/SMQ2, SLG1).

• Good communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualification: 

• SAP EWM Certification

• Experience in S/4HANA EWM

• Exposure to warehouse automation or third-party integrations

• Experience in 24x7 support environments

Duration: 06 Months and possible extension
