Job Summary

Supervise processpre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up activities at project site,ensuring safe execution, technical quality and delivery in line with theapproved schedule.

Key Responsibilities

•  Organize and lead technicians, operators and subcontractor teams fordaily commissioning activities.
  
•  Prepare work fronts, testing dossiers, drawings, procedures, tools,PPE, permits and toolbox talks before execution.
  
•  Supervise chemical cleaning, leak testing, catalyst loading, steam/airblowing, inerting, package start-up, plant start-up and stabilization.
  
•  Inspect systems for operational readiness and ensure LOTO, accesscontrol, barricading and SIMOPS controls are implemented.
  
•  Guide plant operators and monitor flow, level, temperature and pressureto maintain stable operations without trips or shutdowns.
  
•  Support DCS activities involving alarms, trips, logic, interlocks,permissives and overrides.
  
•  Track progress, manpower and spare-part usage; identify constraints andrecommend recovery actions.
  
•   Interpret P&IDs, process flow diagrams and control narrativesaccurately and maintain complete commissioning records.
  
•    Coordinate with engineering, construction, HSE, vendors and otherdisciplines to resolve site issues.
  

Requirements

Requirements

·       Engineering degree or diploma in Chemical, Process or a relateddiscipline.

·       Minimum 12 years of Oil & Gas industry experience.

·       Extensive field experience in process commissioning, plant start-up andstabilization.

·       Demonstrated experience supervising large technical and subcontractorteams.
