Technical Business Analyst

Role Summary

The role requires extensive experience in technical businessanalysis within Agile environments, working closely with business andtechnology stakeholders to ensure accurate data flows, high data quality, andcompliance across complex enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

 • Perform technical businessanalysis within Agile delivery environments, bringing 8+ years of relevantexperience.

 • Elicit, analyse, and documentbusiness and technical requirements related to data management, data mapping,data consumption, and data lineage across multiple systems.

 • Define, validate, anddocument end to end data flows between source and target systems in collaborationwith technical and non-technical stakeholders.

 • Translate complex businessand system requirements into clear, structured documentation suitable for bothtechnical and business audiences.

 • Collaborate with stakeholdersto ensure data requirements are clearly understood, accurately captured, andaligned with overall data platform objectives.

 • Support data quality,reconciliation, and validation activities to maintain data integrity acrossprojects.

 • Apply strong understanding ofdata governance, privacy, and compliance requirements.

 • Work closely with cross functional squads to support end to end project build and delivery.

 • Actively work with data todiscover, identify, curate, and model datasets to deliver high quality businessoutcomes.

 • Bring prior experience inSuperannuation, Pensions, Insurance, or Investments (preferred).

Essential Technical Experience

 • Proven experience working inlarge, complex enterprise data environments.

 • Strong expertise inrequirements gathering, gap analysis, and business consulting.

 • Demonstrated experience indata mapping, data modelling, and data migration initiatives.

 • Strong SQL and data miningskills.

 • Hands on experience breakingbusiness requirements into Jira Epics and User Stories.

 • Good working knowledge ofConfluence for requirements documentation and workflow definition.

 • Proven analytical experienceworking with cloud platforms and databases.

 • Strong facilitation andrequirements management skills within Agile delivery models.

Desired Technical Experience

 • Python coding experience.

Qualifications (Preferred)

 • Tertiary qualification inComputer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

 • Financial Services domainexperience.
