Canyon Springs Post Acute – San Jose, CA

Canyon Springs Post-Acute is seeking an energetic and compassionate Bilingual Activity Assistant to join our premier skilled nursing team in San Jose. In this rewarding role, you will help create meaningful experiences that keep our residents active, social, and engaged through fun and creative programming.

Compensation & Schedule

  • Pay: $18.45 – $19.00 per hour (DOE)

  • Type: Full-Time & Part-Time opportunities available

  • Location: 180 North Jackson St., San Jose, CA (next to Regional Medical Center)

The Role

Working closely with the Activity Director, you will help implement engaging programs designed to support residents’ physical, emotional, and social well-being. You’ll play an important role in creating a vibrant, welcoming community within our facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead group activities and one-on-one engagement sessions

  • Assist in planning and executing social, recreational, and therapeutic programs

  • Encourage resident participation to enhance quality of life

  • Ensure activities align with state and federal care guidelines

  • Set up and organize materials for daily events and programs

Qualifications

  • Bilingual required: Fluent in Vietnamese or Spanish

  • Passion: Genuine interest in working with seniors in a post-acute setting

  • Reliability: Strong attendance and commitment to resident safety

  • Communication: Ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, and team members
