About the RoleĀ
CalcAirĀ Employee Benefit Systems, Inc. isĀ seekingĀ a highly skilled and motivatedĀ Enrolled ActuaryĀ toĀ serve as our Actuarial Support Lead andĀ join ourĀ SupportĀ team. This role is designed to strengthen our customer support capabilities and contribute to theĀ development, implementation, and testing of software features that empower our clients in the small plan retirement market. The ideal candidate will have deep experience with combo plans (DB/DC) and defined contribution administration, and will collaborate closely with our actuarial, support, and development teams.Ā

Some of the TasksĀ
Lead and manage a team of accredited specialists, including actuarial and other professionalsĀ Ā
ProvideĀ expert guidance on combo plan design, compliance, and administrationĀ
Support customer inquiries and troubleshoot plan-specific issues with precision and clarityĀ
Collaborate with software developers to propose and refine features that enhance plan administration toolsĀ
Participate in testing and validation of new software functionalities, ensuring actuarial accuracy and usabilityĀ
Contribute to training materials and client education initiatives related to retirement plan featuresĀ
AssistĀ in interpreting regulatory changes and translating them into actionable system updatesĀ
Offer insights during product planning sessions to align actuarial needs with technical capabilitiesĀ
About youĀ
EA designationĀ required, with current enrollment statusĀ
MinimumĀ 5Ā years of experience in retirement plan administration, with a focus on combo plans including DC administrationĀ
Strong understanding of ERISA, IRS, and DOL regulations applicable to small retirement plansĀ
Demonstrated experience leading,Ā managingĀ or mentoring professional support or technical teams in a client service environmentĀ Ā
Proven ability to communicate complex actuarial concepts toĀ non-actuarialĀ audiencesĀ
Experience working with retirement plan software platforms and contributing to feature developmentĀ
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skillsĀ
ProficiencyĀ in Microsoft Office and familiarity with data analysis toolsĀ
Familiarity with our software is highly desirableĀ
Prior experience in a client-facing support roleĀ
Exposure to software testing or QA processesĀ
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentĀ

Salary Range:
The estimated base salary range for this role is USD$144,000.00 - USD$176,000.00 per year. We include salary ranges in job postings only where required by applicable pay transparency laws, based on the jurisdictions in which the role may be performed.
