Position Summary:

The AP Clerk is an onsite role supporting AP Trade, Check Processing and Corporate. This is done by preparing the daily check runs and payoffs for delivery to meet the SLA required and SOX compliance.

Who would I interact with?

Interacts with AP Accounts Payable Team, Check Processing Team and Variable Operations Leadership.

Primary Job Responsibilities (included by not limited to):

Match/Verify checks to back up.

Log and Prepare FedEx labels and envelopes.

Run AP Trade check runs daily.

Run Corporate check runs daily/weekly.

Other duties as assigned.

Problem Solving:

Ability to use all tools available in order to resolve problems in a timely manner.

Minimum Qualifications:  

  • 10 Key 8,000 ksph 

  • Type 40 wpm 

  • Knowledge of MS Office software including MS Excel, Word and Outlook 

  • Strong communication and organizational skills 

  • Experience handling high volume of paperwork in multiple computer database systems 

  • Excellent follow-up and prioritization abilities 

  • Team player with superior service skills 

  • Excel knowledge  

  • High School diploma 

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Dealership accounting/bookkeeping
