The Office of Technology Services (OTS) was established as a means of recognizing cost savings through the consolidation of State IT assets and resources. The creation of OTS consolidated a wide variety of existing hardware platforms, operating systems, database management systems, networks, third-party software, and custom applications.
聽
OTS leads the State鈥檚 technology procurement process to standardize technology over the entire organization, seek efficiencies of operations, maintenance, and scalability of new products introduced to the OTS suite of services, which can eventually be offered to all in-scope agencies.

Duties/Responsibilities
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Create and manage the release calendar, coordinating release schedules across concurrent projects.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Define and enforce release management processes, including release readiness criteria, approval gates, and rollback plans.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Collaborate with Development, QA, and UAT teams to confirm release scope, sequencing, and dependencies.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Lead release planning and go/no-go meetings, ensuring risks and open items are communicated to stakeholders before deployment.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Coordinate deployments across Development, Test, Staging, and Production environments.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Maintain release notes, change logs, deployment documentation, and post-release reports.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Identify and mitigate release risks and escalate issues that may impact timelines or client commitments.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Support post-release monitoring and coordinate timely resolution of issues after go-live.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Continuously improve release management processes, practices, and templates to ensure consistency across engagements.
Requirements
Education
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Bachelor鈥檚 degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field.
聽
Required Experience
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 4+ years of Release Management and Deployment Coordination experience in software implementation or technology consulting environments.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 ITIL certification required.
聽
Preferred Experience
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Strong understanding of SDLC, environment management, and change control processes.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, or similar release/work-tracking tools.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination skills across technical and business teams.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Experience managing multiple concurrent release schedules in fast-paced environments.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Experience working with federal or state government agencies.
