Bring your creative chaos and arty magic to the residents at HammondCare Aged Care Home in Scone, including those living with dementia. Through simple but wonderfully meaningful art activities, you’ll help spark memories, connection, curiosity, and joy.
Share your love of all things colourful, gluey, glittery, and delightfully messy as you support residents to create their own little masterpieces. With a huge stash of materials ready to go, you’ll have everything you need to paint, stick, splash, stitch, and laugh your way through some beautifully impactful moments.
Your impact
Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.

​HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.

18 years or older •NDIS Worker Screening Checkarranged and paid for by HammondCare
We'd be happy to discuss a suitable time during the week fora one hour visit between 9am and 4pm Monday to Sunday, visits could be weeklyto fortnightly depending on your availability.
