Ā Asset Management Specialist The Asset Management & Warehouse Specialist is responsible for daily IT warehouse operations, inventory management, receiving activities, and IT asset lifecycle management. This role supports the deployment, transfer, recovery, tracking, and disposal of technology assets while maintaining accurate records in ServiceNow, Workday, and other enterprise systems. The position also supports equipment deliveries, technology refresh initiatives, and warehouse operations across the organization.
Asset Management Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Establishes and implements hardware and software acquisition, protection, maintenance and retention policies, standards and procedures that are aligned with IT standards and strategy. Investigates available hardware and software products; evaluates and recommends products based on user requirements.
- Coordinates with the procurement function to interview, select and negotiate with hardware and software vendors in order to purchase the appropriate equipment at the lowest cost.
- Reviews licenses and/or contracts to ensure that hardware and software equipment is covered by the contract and properly documented.
- Requires working knowledge and skills to perform a defined set of analytical or technical operational processes.
- Applies experience and skills to complete assigned work.
- Works within standard operating procedures and/or methods. Works with a moderate degree of supervision
- Receive, stage, store, distribute, and deliver IT equipment and supplies.
- Manage the full lifecycle of IT assets, including deployment, transfers, recoveries, refreshes, donations, and disposal activities.
- Maintain accurate asset, inventory, and receiving records in ServiceNow, Workday, and related systems.
- Support inventory control through cycle counts, audits, reconciliations, and stock replenishment activities.
- Coordinate equipment deliveries, relocations, and enterprise technology deployment projects.
- Operate company vehicles, including box trucks and vans, to transport equipment and supplies.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse while adhering to inventory control and safety procedures.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
- Collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance, and operational teams to support asset management, inventory, and warehouse services.
- Assist with reporting, compliance, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Experience with the following
- 2+ years of experience in IT asset management, inventory management, warehouse operations, logistics, or related fields.
- Experience managing IT asset lifecycles and maintaining inventory records in enterprise systems such as ServiceNow, Workday, or similar platforms.
- Experience with receiving, inventory reconciliation, cycle counts, and warehouse operations.
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate box trucks and cargo vans.
- Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds and safely operate warehouse equipment.
- Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills with attention to detail.
Education
- High School Diploma
- Bachelor's preferred
