We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly accountable People Operations professional to own the employee lifecycle from onboarding through offboarding, with a strong focus on payroll, benefits administration, employee data governance, compliance, and workforce reporting. The role will be responsible for ensuring that employee records, payroll, benefits, and HR systems remain accurate, compliant, timely, and audit-ready.

The ideal candidate will bring strong operational discipline, an eye for detail, and the ability to build reliable processes and controls. This role will work closely with HR, Finance, business leaders, employees, and external vendors to ensure seamless employee administration, minimize operational and financial risks, and provide leadership with reliable workforce insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end employee onboarding and setup process from offer acceptance to active employment.

  • Ensure employment contracts, policy acknowledgements, statutory documents, and employee records are completed, signed, filed, and maintained.

  • Verify employee master data, including CNIC, salary, designation, reporting lines, bank details, dependents, next of kin, and emergency contacts.

  • Manage employee setup and data maintenance across HRMS, payroll, insurance, provident fund, EOBI, and other benefits platforms.

  • Determine employee eligibility for benefits and ensure timely and accurate enrollment.

  • Maintain complete, accurate, and audit-ready employee files throughout the employee lifecycle.

  • Own monthly payroll processing, ensuring accuracy of salaries, commissions, deductions, taxes, adjustments, and other payroll inputs.

  • Validate commission submissions against approved business rules before payroll processing.

  • Manage PKR and foreign currency payrolls and ensure timely salary disbursements.

  • Process approved salary revisions, promotions, transfers, and increment cycles accurately.

  • Maintain data consistency across HR, payroll, and third-party benefits systems.

  • Oversee Provident Fund, EOBI, IPD, life insurance, fuel benefits, and other employee benefit programs.

  • Manage the company's OPD benefit program, including eligibility, claims tracking, utilization, annual limits, and balances.

  • Conduct regular audits of benefits enrollment and utilization to identify duplicate enrollments, inactive employees, billing discrepancies, and coverage gaps.

  • Reconcile monthly invoices from insurance providers, benefits vendors, and other service partners.

  • Maintain organizational readiness for internal and external audits, due diligence exercises, and compliance reviews.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, taxation requirements, EOBI regulations, company policies, and statutory obligations.

  • Develop and maintain controls that minimize payroll errors, documentation gaps, compliance risks, and operational inefficiencies.

  • Conduct recurring audits of employee records, payroll data, benefits enrollment, and HR systems.

  • Manage vendor contracts, renewals, documentation, and payment validations to ensure service quality and prevent overbilling.

  • Monitor workforce metrics including headcount movements, attrition, benefits utilization, compensation trends, and payroll fluctuations.

  • Benchmark compensation and benefits against the market and support the development of salary bands and pay structures.

  • Provide leadership with accurate workforce analytics and actionable insights to support people-related decisions.

  • Own the end-to-end employee offboarding process in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.

  • Ensure resignation records, approvals, exit documentation, disciplinary records, PIPs, warning letters, and supporting correspondence are properly maintained.

  • Process final settlements, including pending commissions, recoveries, leave encashment, notice period adjustments, and statutory obligations.

  • Ensure timely removal of separated employees from payroll, insurance, fuel benefits, provident fund, EOBI, HR systems, and third-party platforms.

  • Maintain complete audit trails for employee separations and ensure records remain accurate, compliant, and accessible.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in People Operations, HR Operations, Payroll, Compensation & Benefits, or a similar function.

  • Strong hands-on experience managing end-to-end payroll and employee lifecycle processes.

  • Strong understanding of payroll, benefits administration, employee data management, and statutory compliance.

  • Experience managing PKR and foreign currency payrolls will be preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of employee benefits, including Provident Fund, EOBI, insurance, OPD, and other benefits programs.

  • Experience working with HRMS, payroll systems, and third-party benefits platforms.

  • Strong analytical and reconciliation skills, with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Ability to identify data inconsistencies, financial discrepancies, compliance risks, and process gaps.

  • Strong understanding of employee data governance and HR documentation requirements.

  • Experience managing HR audits, compliance reviews, and vendor reconciliations.

  • Strong Excel/data analysis skills and the ability to translate workforce data into actionable insights.

  • Strong organizational and process-management skills, with the ability to manage recurring deadlines independently.

  • High level of integrity and confidentiality when handling employee, compensation, payroll, and personal data.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across HR, Finance, employees, leadership, and external vendors.

  • A process-oriented mindset with a strong focus on accuracy, controls, and continuous improvement.
