Are you looking to be part of a collaborative team responsible for creating assortment strategies based on analyzing sales and trends? 
Do you feel like you stand right in between the creativity and analytic aspects of fashion? Our job blends creativity, analytics, and marketing.
You will develop business strategies and assortment plans to maximize the development of the brand, sales, and  profits. You will attend and participate in vendor meetings while identifying opportunities and recommending new 
products or concepts for the department.

HERE'S WHAT A DAY AT WORK MAY LOOK LIKE...
• Perform market analysis, competitive shop, and analyze sales trends to keep abreast of current trends. Obtain feedback from stores to improve products and add to collections.
• Run through all the new range details ready for selection meetings (Check all prices, colors, reference numbers,and styles to make sure all the information I correct)
• Live in spreadsheets detailing quantities.
• Develop merchandising strategies to maximize departmental opportunities and reach financial goals.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with cross-functional team members and vendors, both new and existing.
• Partner with Planning counterparts to manage actively and responsibly open to buy budget.
• Act as a mentor to Assistant Buyers and Buying Coordinators across the team.

ABOUT YOU...
• You have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a retail buying or merchandising role.
• Self-motivated (passionate about your brand)
• Self –starter? Organized? Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple projects? Perfect!
• Good analytical skills and ability to negotiate. 
• Creative and Computer Savvy 
• Into the latest trends? Fashion? Shoes? Perfect! 

IT WOULD BE GREAT BUT NOT COMPLETELY NECESSARY TO HAVE...
• 2-3 years of retail buying experience; preferably with a large organization in a similar role
• Experience in the retail industry with emphasis in athletic footwear.

Pay Range: $70,304 - $72,000
