The Operations Division atĀ CollegeĀ Board is focused on leading the organization’s transformation to support delivery of digital assessments. The division aims to provide strong customer engagement and world-class digital assessment delivery experience that supports millions of students and thousands of schools and test centers annually. The Customer Engagement &Ā Experience(CEE)Ā department is a combination of teams that support our key constituents: students, parents, educators, and our state partners thatĀ representĀ approximately two millionĀ contactsĀ per year. This integrated team serves as the organization’s ā€˜front line’ andĀ representsĀ the voice of the customer, partnering across the organization to help improve the overall customer experience.Ā Ā Ā

About the Opportunity   

As the Associate Director, Reporting and Analysis, you will turn operational data into decisions that improve performance acrossĀ CollegeĀ Board’s customer engagement ecosystem. Your work will directly enable leaders to understandĀ performance drivers, where we are off track, and what actions will most improve customer experience, efficiency, and outcomes.Ā You will own the reporting and insight layer that powers Business Reviews and day-to-day decision-making across major programs (AP, College Readiness Assessments, CLEP, Financial Aid Services, and others).Ā Ā

In this role, you will:Ā Ā 

DriveĀ Performance Through InsightĀ Ā 

  • Translate complex operational data intoĀ clear, actionable insights that drive measurable improvementsĀ in customer experience, efficiency, and team performanceĀ Ā 

  • IdentifyĀ root causes of performance gapsĀ (e.g., call drivers, volume spikes, resolution inefficiencies) and recommend specific actions to address themĀ Ā 

  • Equip leaders to quickly understand performance, what is driving it, and what actions will have the greatest impactĀ Ā 

  • Shift reporting from retrospective summaries to forward-looking insights that influence decisions and outcomesĀ

Enable High-Quality Business DecisionsĀ Ā 

  • Own the insight layer for Business Reviews with senior leadership, ensuring discussions focus on what matters most, highlight risks and tradeoffs, and drive clear decisions and follow-up actionsĀ Ā 

  • Partner withĀ CEEĀ senior leaders to define success metrics, targets, and performance narrativesĀ Ā 

  • Proactively surface trends and emerging risks before theyĀ impactĀ performanceĀ Ā

Build Scalable VisibilityĀ intoĀ OperationsĀ Ā 

  • Build efficient, scalable reporting solutionsĀ that significantly reduceĀ manual reporting effortsĀ 

  • Standardize key metrics so leadersĀ operateĀ from a shared understanding of performance and successĀ Ā 

  • Design dashboards and reporting that provide real-time clarity into performance across programs, channels, and teamsĀ Ā 

  • EnsureĀ reporting tools (e.g.,Ā Tableau, Salesforce, AWS, vendor platforms)Ā are usedĀ consistentlyĀ to enable faster, better decision-makingĀ Ā

Act as a Strategic Thought PartnerĀ Ā 

  • Serve as the go-to expert for translating data into business-relevant insights and recommendationsĀ Ā 

  • Partner cross-functionallyĀ withĀ Technology, Operations,Ā andĀ Program teamsĀ toĀ improve data quality and accessibility, andĀ identifyĀ new opportunities to use data to drive performanceĀ Ā 

  • ProactivelyĀ identifyĀ opportunities to use data to improve performance and influence prioritiesĀ 

  • Advocate for changes in reporting, tools, or processes that will increase clarity, speed, and impact of decision-makingĀ

Exceptional candidates can effectively speak to:Ā Ā 

  • A bachelor’s degree andĀ 3+ years’ experience withĀ tools such asĀ Tableau, AWS,Ā andĀ Salesforce, or similar platformsĀ 

  • Advanced skills in Excel (e.g.,Ā complexĀ formulas, pivot tables, etc.)Ā and strong data visualization capabilitiesĀ 

  • Proven ability to work with large datasets and translate them into actionable insightsĀ Ā
