Role Purpose

The Capacity Planner is responsible for executing the commercial crush plan by aligning inbound delivery schedule with inventory, logistics, and facility scheduling to maximize efficiencies, productivity, and profit at the Crush facility.

 

This position is based in Warden, WA and requires full on-site presence.

 

Main Accountabilities

  • Create and manage the inbound scheduling and receiving of all grain delivered to execute the commercial crush plan and oversee the outbound truck meal schedule, along with the truck oil schedule as needed 
  • Support truck meal sales trading and logistics
  • Oversight of inventory management ensuring operations align with commercial activity. Monitors the quality of product as needed to ensure customer specifications are met and efficiencies maximized.
  • Proactively coordinate and communicate schedule changes related to supply and demand changes with stakeholders
  • Ensure inbound transportation is consistent with commercial plan and schedule
  • Support local logistics as needed to ensure outbound transportation is consistent with commercial plan and facility production
  • Support local relationships with related rail company(s), as related to logistics, and local rail service

  • Use knowledge of Bunge’s business, structure and strategy to develop innovative solutions to improve results or eliminate problems.

  • Drive results through high standards, focus on key priorities, organization, and preparing others for change.

 

Education & Experience

  • Recommended five (5) years minimum experience in logistics planning, inventory management, or commercial trading roles.

  • Degree in Business Administration, Commerce or Agriculture considered a plus.
