PURPOSE OF JOB: 

This position will support Route 92 Medical's efforts to conduct excellent quality research in the neurovascular space. The Clinical Trial Associate plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of clinical research studies, ensuring trials run smoothly, efficiently, and in full compliance with regulatory and institutional standards. This role serves as a central point of coordination between investigators, study teams, sponsors, and regulatory bodies — managing documentation, scheduling, data integrity, and communication throughout the trial lifecycle. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable navigating the administrative and regulatory demands of a fast-paced clinical research environment. Although this role can be 100% remote in the US, you must to be able to support pacific or mountain time core business hours. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Track clinical research expenses: and validate incoming invoices from clinical trial sites as compared to the Electronic Data Capture system for accuracy. Communicate with sites for any invoicing corrections and with Route 92 finance team for on-time site payments.
  • Develop newsletter drafts and manage distribution lists
  • Manage site contact lists
  • Vendor & Site Support: Help coordinate communication with third-party vendors, CROs, and clinical trial sites.
  • Logistics & Tracking: Monitor study supplies, update tracking dashboards, and track clinical enrollment at clinical trial sites.
  • Collaborate: with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and drive improvements
  • Communication: Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Other duties as assigned.


SKILLS FOR SUCCESS: 

  • Adaptable to a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and focus on the identification of potential issues and continuous improvement
  • Knowledge of medical device clinical trial processes and requirements
  • Ability to travel up to 10% 


REQUIRED EDUCATION: 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent 


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: 

  • 2+ years work experience in a medical device clinical research role or equivalent 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint

The actual base pay is dependent on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience, market data, skills, geographic location, and business needs. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for equity.
