Highlights:

Summary: The Collections, Team Lead shall be responsible to supervise, investigate, and resolve all outstanding patient and/or insurance account balances over 30 days old. This individual will supervise the Collection Representatives, provide training as needed, and report on quality assurance, production, and attendance. The Team Lead will also act as a back up to other CBO Team Lead positions as directed by the Management Team. The Team Lead will use multiple computer systems and electronic payer systems on a daily basis. Additionally, the Team Lead is instrumental in facilitating process and procedure improvements. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role. Education/Experience: High School diploma or equivalent required. College degree or technical certification is preferred. One year supervisor or team lead experience preferred. One year data entry experience required. License/Certification: None Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Ability to read and write proficiently.
• Good math skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Previous background of working in a healthcare related field for at least one year required.
• PC experience required with working knowledge of Excel and Word applications.
• Ability to demonstrate proficiency with other computer software.
• Demonstrated positive attitude and acceptance of Baptist Health valuesWorking Conditions/Physical Requirements: Position requires sitting for 80% of the workday and mobility 20% of the workday.
There is occasional stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching.
There is frequent reaching, use of hands and repetitive action.
Requires occasional lifting or carrying up to 25 pounds, pushing/pulling up to 25 pounds.
There is a continuous need for speaking with clear diction and hearing sensitivity in conversation either by phone or in person.
Continuous visual acuity at close and distant range.
Inside protected from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes. Minimal noise levels.
Much exposure to computer work.
Occasional exposure to risk of electrical shock.
Some exposure to infectious disease while performing job-related tasks.
Some exposure to hazardous chemicals. Occasional exposure to radiation.
