What we need:

 

Mohawk is looking to add a Spin Line Operator to join our team. This individual is responsible for performing and providing quality support functions for manufacturing as well as assisting with R&D projects, matching/adjusting color concentrates and testing of physical properties for all Mohawk Extrusion.  

 

What you’ll do:

 

  • Carry out various quality checks in all polymers. 
  • Run Extrusion pilot line to test internal produced concentrate and qualify all external produced concentrates for color and physical properties going to extrusion facilities. 
  • Approve lots to be shipped.  
  • Promotes and supports safety. 
  • Suggests innovative ways of process improvements. 
  • Establish starting formulas for compounding production
  • Maintain lift truck certification

 

What you have:

 

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Three to five years of experience
  • A good understanding of color technology, use of instruments, basic math functions to correct formulas, assist lead operators to make adjustments and trouble-shoot, tests for properties and records (excel) for reports.
