Job DetailsJob Location: Keller - WAPosition Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $27.16 - $33.08 HourlyJob Shift: DayCLOSING DATE: 9/14/2026 POSITION: Dental Assistant (Certified) SALARY: $27.16 - $33.08/hr DOE REPORTS TO: Lead Dental Assistant LOCATION: San Poil Valley Health Center - Keller, WA SUMMARY: The Dental Assistant for the Colville Tribal Healthcare Authority provides responsive, high quality dental care services that meet the needs of all users at their assigned location. The Dental Assistant will perform their job duties in a professional manner while assuring that all the needs of the patients are met with a pleasant demeanor. The Dental Assistant works closely with dentists and other dental staff to provide efficient and compassionate patient care and to maintain a clean, safe, and organized dental environment. QualificationsMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program or equivalent education and training preferred Current Dental Assistant certification/registration or other credentials as required by applicable regulations and organizational requirements HIPAA and Privacy training within 90 days of employment Blood borne pathogen training annually CPR/First Aid within initial 90 (ninety) days of hire Ability to understand, speak, communicate and read the English language Ability to utilize RPMS and EHR proficiently Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, equipment, procedures, and infection control practices Note: Pursuant to Tribal Policy, if this position is safety sensitive it is subject to pre-employment drug testing. In addition, this position is subject to reasonable suspicion and post-accident drug testing. TRIBAL MEMBER AND INDIAN PREFERENCE WILL APPLY; PREFERENCE WILL ALSO BE GIVEN TO HONORABLY DISCHARGED VETERANS WHO ARE MINIMALLY QUALIFIED. If required of this position, you must possess and maintain a valid Washington State driver’s license and be eligible for the Tribes’ Vehicle Insurance. In addition, this position may be subject to pre-employment background clearances. If applicable, these clearances must be maintained throughout employment.
