Akima Systems Engineering is looking for a Cybersecurity Compliance Analyst to work in Honolulu, HI. The Cybersecurity Compliance Analyst supports the Command-and-Control Communications and Cyber directorate's mission to operationalize cyber by ensuring compliance, conducting audits, and validating foundational cybersecurity requirements. Responsibilities

  • Responsibilities include evaluating DoD Directives, validating compliance, tracking, and reporting, subordinate commands, and Direct Reporting Units (DRUs). 
  • The analyst will use tools like Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) and Continuous Monitoring Risk Scoring (CMRS) to conduct risk analyses, identify vulnerabilities, and manage mitigation efforts until resolution. 
  • Performs vulnerability analyses based on intelligence reports, reviewing cybersecurity compliance policies, recommending updates, coordinating cybersecurity inspections, and conducting technical and procedural audits using established standards and tools such as Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) and Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP). 
  • Administers the workflow portion of the Defense CyberScope online web tool, consolidating information for scorecard submissions, preparing executive summaries for leadership briefings, and providing monthly status reports detailing accomplished tasks, ongoing projects, and areas requiring government action. 
  • Support RMF process efforts, as required. 

Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI clearance 
  • Minimum High School Diploma/GED.  
  • Must possess ONE of the following certifications: 
  • CAP (Certified Authorization Professional) 
  • CASP+ CE 
  • CISM (Certified Information Security Manager) 
  • CISSP (or Associate) 
  • GSLC (GIAC Security Leadership Certification) 
  • CCISO (Certified Chief Information Security Officer) 
  • HCISPP (Healthcare Information Security and Privacy Practitioner) 
  • CompTIA Sec+ 
  • Must have at least 3 years’ experience related to Cybersecurity, Information Technology as well as CND. 
  • Experience using Microsoft Office tools (Project, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio and Outlook).
