Data Engineer

This is a remote position.

Compulsory Requirement: Minimum 3 Years Experience as a Data Engineer with a strong portfolio showcasing scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, robust data integration, and cloud-based data architecture.

Payment Structure: Full-time salary – The Data Engineer will be compensated with a competitive fixed salary aligned with industry standards and experience level for work completed on both FyerX's internal technology infrastructure and external client platforms.

Advantage: Prior experience working with tech firms, marketing agencies, enterprise platform integrations (e.g., Salesforce, ServiceNow), or building automated pipelines using n8n and AI API endpoints.

Responsibilities:

• Architect, build, and maintain highly scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines and infrastructure for FyerX's internal operations and diverse client tech transformations.
  

• Develop automated workflows (using tools like n8n, webhooks, and REST APIs) to securely extract, normalize, and merge cross-platform metrics from tools like Google, Meta, GA4, and various CRMs.
  

• Manage and optimize relational databases and cloud data warehouses (e.g., PostgreSQL, Snowflake, BigQuery) to ensure low-latency data access for downstream AI scripts, dashboards, and reporting tools.
  

• Collaborate closely with AI specialists, backend engineers, and marketing teams to ensure clean, structured data payloads are correctly routed to large language models, agentic workflows, and automated alerting systems.
  

• Implement robust data quality checks, automated deduplication processes, and comprehensive monitoring to proactively flag anomalies, prevent budget waste, and maintain total data integrity.
  

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional data engineering experience with a proven track record of designing, building, and deploying automated, production-grade data pipelines.
  

• Advanced proficiency in SQL and programming languages such as Python or Scala, alongside a deep understanding of data modeling, schema design, and query optimization.
  

• Solid hands-on experience with modern data stack tools, cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure), data warehousing (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift), and orchestration platforms (Airflow, n8n).
  

• Proven expertise in integrating complex enterprise APIs, handling JSON/XML payloads, and securely synchronizing databases with external marketing networks and CRM platforms.
  

• Strategic problem-solving skills with an uncompromising focus on data governance, security compliance, and writing clean, scalable, and well-documented infrastructure code.
  

• Strong organizational, time-tracking, and project management skills; ability to handle multiple data integration projects simultaneously, meet tight deadlines, and coordinate effectively with remote tech teams.
