Desert Pine BESS- Laborer (Non-Driver)

Job Overview:

The Laborer (Non-Driver) will support various construction and maintenance tasks at the Desert Pine BESS project site, primarily involving manual labor and material handling. This role is crucial for maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Job Responsibilities:**
* Perform general manual labor duties, including but not limited to, digging, lifting, carrying, and moving materials, tools, and equipment.
* Assist skilled tradespeople (e.g., electricians, carpenters, pipefitters) with tasks as directed.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring proper disposal of waste and debris.
* Load and unload materials and supplies from delivery vehicles.
* Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision.
* Spot for heavy equipment operators to ensure safe movement on site.
* Follow all safety policies and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
* Participate in pre-task planning and safety meetings.
* Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or foremen.

Job Qualifications:**
* High School Diploma or GED preferred.
* Previous experience in construction or industrial environments is a plus.
* Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English.
* Strong physical stamina and ability to perform strenuous tasks in various weather conditions.
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
* Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime, as needed.
* Commitment to safety and a strong work ethic.
* Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
* Valid identification required (state-issued ID or passport).
* Reliable transportation to and from the Desert Pine BESS project site.
