OBJECTIVE:Ā
TheĀ Director,Ā US Field MedicalĀ Readiness & EnablementĀ will serve as a key member of the US Field Medical leadership team, playingĀ a critical role in driving the success of US Field Medical and ensuring the highest standards of scientific engagement and medical impact with healthcare professionals.Ā This individual willĀ elevateĀ departmental capabilities through development and execution of US Field Medical department-wide programs and initiatives in collaboration with US Field Medical leaders and other internal stakeholders.Ā Additionally, this individual will foster a culture of high performance, continuousĀ improvementĀ and innovation, while ensuring operational excellence and impact aligned to US Medical strategies and priorities.Ā

Onboarding/Training/DevelopmentĀ
In collaboration with US Field Medical leaders and other US Medical stakeholders,Ā developĀ and implement US Field Medical departmental standards and processes for onboarding, training, and competency assessment.Ā
Design and deliver comprehensive core skills and competencies training programs to ensureĀ US Field MedicalĀ is equipped to optimally engage external stakeholders.Ā
In collaboration with HR, design and deliver comprehensive skills and competencies training programs to ensure US Field Medical people leaders are optimally leading their teams and serving as valued partners to internal stakeholders (e.g., coaching, executive presence, influence, working in matrix).Ā
InnovationĀ
Maintain involvement in industry associationsĀ and meetingsĀ toĀ identifyĀ andĀ monitorĀ external field medical and medical engagement innovationĀ trendsĀ and opportunities.Ā
Routinely conductĀ externalĀ benchmarking ofĀ US FieldĀ MedicalĀ departmentalĀ performanceĀ and leverage to seek areas for improvement and enhancement.Ā
In partnership withĀ US Field MedicalĀ leadersĀ and other internal stakeholders,Ā developĀ and overseeĀ US FieldĀ Medical launchĀ excellenceĀ frameworkĀ and processesĀ to ensureĀ optimalĀ readiness forĀ and execution ofĀ product launches.Ā
In partnership with US Field Medical leadersĀ and other internal stakeholders, develop and oversee US Field Medical research supportĀ frameworkĀ and processes to ensure effective and compliantĀ contributionĀ to Takeda-sponsored research.Ā
Operations/Digital Tools andĀ Systems/Internal CommunicationsĀ
Provide oversight of US Field Medical KOL/HCP engagementĀ monitoringĀ framework and process in collaboration with US Field Medical leaders, Legal, and Ethics and Compliance.Ā
With US Field Medical leaders, oversee US Field Medical department annual external engagement planning and approval process (e.g., team tactical plans, individual territory plans).Ā Ā
Support development andĀ implementation ofĀ US Field MedicalĀ SOPs and guidance in close collaboration withĀ US Field Medical leaders andĀ governance partners.Ā
In partnership with US Medical internal stakeholders,Ā optimizeĀ US Field Medical adoption of data analytics and digital tools/systems, including AI,Ā to enhance data-driven planning,Ā execution, andĀ impactfulĀ reporting.Ā Ā
Evolve and advance field medical insights capabilities to ensure effective and streamlined capture, translation, and internal communication of high-quality insights to inform medical strategies and tactics.Ā Ā
Communicate US Field Medical CRM system enhancement needs and requirements to appropriate internal stakeholders and collaborate on implementation.Ā
In partnership with US Field Medical leaders, develop andĀ maintainĀ optimized department-wide communications plan and reporting templates/dashboard for sharing US Field Medical activity metrics, impact and outcome performance measures, and insights with internal stakeholders.Ā
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:Ā
Required:Ā
DoctoralĀ degree in life/health sciences is preferred (PharmD, MD, PhD, or equivalent).Ā MasterāsĀ degree in health sciences (e.g., MSN, NP, or PA) is theĀ minimumĀ requirement.Ā
Thorough understanding of andĀ at leastĀ 5Ā years ofĀ experience working in the pharmaceutical industry.Ā Ā Medical AffairsĀ and Field MedicalĀ experienceĀ stronglyĀ preferred.Ā
Proven record of strategicĀ and analytical thinking,Ā innovation,Ā projectĀ leadership,Ā and change implementation.Ā
Proven record ofĀ teamwork,Ā collaboration, and influencing/working in a matrix environment toĀ accomplishĀ goalsĀ andĀ objectives.Ā
Demonstrated ability to manage, lead and mentor individuals and/orĀ teams.Ā

$192,400.00 - $302,390.00
The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.āÆThe actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.Ā
U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/ or long-term incentives. U.S. based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others.
