Summary:
The Director, US Key Accounts will provide strategic leadership, direction, and oversight for the Key Account Manager team at NS Pharma. Reporting directly to the Senior Director, US Head of Sales, this role is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing national strategies to effectively support and expand key healthcare account relationships. The Director, US Key Accounts will recruit, coach and mentor, and develop the Key Account Manager team, drive performance and foster a collaborative culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute national key account strategies aligned with overall sales and business objectives.
- Analyze market trends and competitive activities to identify opportunities and threats within key accounts.
- Build and nurture relationships with senior executives and other stakeholders within key accounts to strengthen partnerships.
Team Management and Development
- Recruit, train, coach and mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Key Account Managers.
- Set clear objectives, monitor performance, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with clinical, market access, marketing, patient services, operations and sales departments to develop and implement standardized operating procedures.
- Coordinate cross-functional initiatives to ensure alignment and consistency in account management practices.
Account Management and Growth
- Lead the team in identifying, securing, and managing strategic relationships with key accounts, including COEs/hospitals, healthcare systems, and infusion centers.
- Collaborate with Market Access on the negotiation and execution of contracts to expand NS Pharma’s presence within strategic accounts.
- Ensure the consistent implementation of standardized protocols across all partner sites.
 Compliance and Operational Excellence
- Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Optimize operational processes and resource allocation to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory and ethical standards in account management practices.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Represent NS Pharma at industry conferences, healthcare provider meetings, hospital grand rounds, and patient advocacy events.
- Engage key stakeholders through effective communication, presenting NS Pharma as a leader in healthcare solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required: MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 10 years in pharmaceutical/biotech and/or rare disease sales/sales leadership in a senior management position with a minimum of 5 years of documented success as a national/area sales leader is required.
- Experience should include deep knowledge and proven success in hospital sales and national/regional systems preferred. Â Extensive experience in strategic planning, negotiation, and relationship management at the executive level
- Prior job experience in regional/national accounts, marketing, market access, analytics, training or related roles preferred. Experience with account planning including tools, resources and reporting required
- Product launch experience is required, preferably in an infusion product capacity. Strong knowledge of healthcare systems, buy and bill, infusion logistics, and regulatory compliance.
- Proven success in leading key account management teams, ideally with experience in launching hospital outpatient infusion therapies and hospital-based account management selling skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross functionally with exceptional interpersonal, leadership, and strategic thinking skills.
- Must have infusion and rare disease experience
Travel Requirements:
- Extensive travel is required to perform job duties with ability to travel nationally up to 75% of the time.

The annualized target salary range for this role is $210,000- $230,000Â actual salaries will vary and may be above or below this range depending on several factors, including experience, education, training, location, and merit. Â
