Katz, Sapper & Miller (āKSMā) has aĀ DirectorĀ opportunity to join their growing Transaction Advisory Services (āTASā) team. This role provides a dynamic & flexible environment, with learning opportunities in working with private equity and corporate clients on buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements. As aĀ DirectorĀ you will have the opportunity to lead in an energetic atmosphere,Ā oversee theĀ assessment ofĀ quality of earnings, cash flows, working capital, key business drivers through analyzing financial details and discussions with management and their advisors.Ā

Responsibilities:Ā Ā
Manage and oversee engagement teams onĀ buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements/projects.Ā
Supervise,Ā developĀ and train staff on engagements. Evaluate performance andĀ participateĀ in individual's performance appraisalĀ processĀ
Interact directly withĀ managersĀ and partners on matters related to client and engagementĀ managementĀ
Strengthen existing client relationships and developing new business opportunities by providing outstanding clientĀ serviceĀ
Communicate with business owners, executive management, investors,Ā lendersĀ and other sophisticated parties to ensure delivery of exceptional clientĀ serviceĀ
Invest in professional development through active participation in training sessions and networking events both internally andĀ externallyĀ
AssistĀ with recruiting activities to include campus recruiting along with referring experienced individuals to the firm andĀ participatingĀ in the firm's Employee Referral Bonus ProgramĀ
Demonstrate excellent team skills, positiveĀ attitudeĀ and high ethicalĀ standardsĀ
Requirements/Qualifications:Ā Ā
Eight (8+) years' experience in a large accounting firm in audit, financial advisory or transaction service linesĀ or appliable experience inĀ corporate finance or accounting.Ā Ā
Five (5)+Ā yearsāĀ of supervisory experience, mentoring and counseling associates desiredĀ
Relevant bachelorās degree in accounting, finance orĀ relatedĀ
Certified public accountant (CPA)Ā ā preferredĀ Ā
High motivation,Ā initiativeĀ and positive attitudeĀ
Excellent organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to multitask and handle multiple prioritiesĀ appropriatelyĀ
Intermediate modeling and excel skills, experience conducting complex quantitativeĀ
and qualitative financial analysis and ability to generate data-drivenĀ insightsĀ
Ability to work autonomously, to meet tight deadlines, and to thrive in a fast pacedĀ
environment with shiftingĀ prioritiesĀ
Excellent verbal and written communication, experience presenting analyses toĀ
management and ability to lead and driveĀ initiativesĀ
Ability to work effectively and thrive in a team environment with all levels of client personnel in variousĀ industriesĀ
Ability to comfortably interact with senior level client personnel, including supporting the preparation of andĀ participatingĀ in executiveĀ briefingsĀ
