Entertainment DJ

Position Summary:

Entertainment DJs are responsible for creating lasting memories by delivering an exceptional atmosphere and guest experience that aligns with brand standards.

They create the appropriate soundtrack for key activities, parties, and events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of consistent product delivery.

• Collaborate with onboard teammates to provide an outstanding guest experience.

• Spend time with guests, develop rapport, and maintain a professional appearance.

• Act as a personable communicator with outstanding social and hosting skills.

• Provide a positive first impression, maintain company standards, and ensure onboard safety compliance.

• Take ownership of the assigned experience area.

• Support the development, implementation, and execution of initiatives in alignment with the Entertainment leadership team.

• Anticipate guest needs and requests.

• Offer expertise and provide music knowledge to enhance the guest experience.

• Actively learn and remain knowledgeable about product, policy, demographic, itinerary, and port information.

• Ensure the prompt and correct setup, presentation, ambience, and operation of venues.

• Responsibly use consumable items, support cost-saving initiatives, and maintain assigned equipment in good condition.

• Consistently support and cross-promote all revenue departments.

• Understanding of the fundamental principles of guest experience and hospitality operations.

• Commitment to providing the appropriate soundtrack for key activities.

• Ability to deliver engaging and high-quality parties and events.

• Confident, charming, charismatic, and energetic stage style.

• Genuine passion and ability to play different styles of music.

Non-Negotiable Requirements:

• A short video presentation is required to demonstrate the candidate’s personality, communication, and public speaking skills.

• The video does not need to be professional, but it must accurately reflect the candidate’s genuine appearance.

Strongly Preferred:

• A comprehensive CV providing a concise and easy-to-read overview of professional experience.

Contract Details:

• 6/2 rotation: continual rotations of 6 months onboard followed by 2 months of vacation.

• Single cabin with private bathroom facilities.
