Red Ember Recruitment is seeking a Store Manager for a fast food restaurant based in Pretoria North.
Purpose of the Role:
- Responsible for the overall day-to-day management and cost-effective operation of a fast-food store, ensuring high standards of customer service, food quality, hygiene, operational efficiency and staff performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operation of the store, including opening and closing procedures.
- Ensure food preparation, quality and service meet required operational standards.
- Manage and develop staff, including training, performance and adherence to procedures.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, food safety and equipment maintenance.
- Manage stock levels, stock-taking, wastage and deliveries.
- Oversee daily cash-ups, banking and other basic financial controls.
- Ensure administrative and staff-related records are accurately maintained.
- Monitor customer service and resolve complaints appropriately.
- Ensure company procedures, operational standards and workplace rules are consistently followed.
- Maintain a professional relationship with customers, suppliers and staff.
Requirements
- Previous fast-food, restaurant or similar high-volume food-service management experience.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate and manage a team.
- Strong operational and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
- Good understanding of stock, cash and general store controls.
- Reliable, flexible and hands-on approach to management.
