The Field Service Engineer provides highly visible customer support through the performance of on-site installation, as well as overseeing any necessary diagnoses, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex equipment and systems. TheĀ FieldĀ Engineer will instruct customers in the operation and maintenance of the system and serve as company liaison withĀ customerĀ on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects. This role may include any aspect of field support, and is not limited to system hardware and software, PCs, and networking/wireless networking.Ā

Perform installations, maintenance, validations, and repairs while ensuring compliance with PerkinElmerās service standards and key performance indicators.Ā
Engage withĀ customers to understand their analytical workflows and tailor service offerings, including training,Ā support, and upgrades.Ā
Enhance account profitability through efficient service execution and byĀ identifyingĀ revenue opportunities such as billable work, consumables,Ā and service leads.Ā
Maintain assigned assets, including tools, test equipment (MTE), telecommunication equipment, and service parts inventory.Ā
Enhance PerkinElmerās product quality by proactively reporting improvement opportunities via the quality notification process.Ā

The annualāÆcompensation range for this full-time position is $65,000.00Ā to $85,000.00. The final base pay offered to the successful candidate will beĀ determinedĀ by factors including internal equity, work location, as well as individual qualifications, such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.Ā
