Full Time Nanny – Redwood City, CA

A warm, loving family in Redwood City, CA is seeking a reliable, creative, and communicative full-time nanny to care for their two young children (a 2-year-old girl and a 3-month-old boy). The household includes a friendly dog and operates as a non-smoking environment.

Schedule:

• 40 hours per week
• Roughly 8am-5pm (flexible on start and end times)
• One weekend day required with flexible day(s) off during the week

Family Specifications:

• Smoke-free home
• Dog friendly home
• Household includes a 2-year-old who loves being outside, reading, and getting messy with crafts, and a happy 3-month-old who enjoys cuddles, tummy time, and chatty time
• Both parents will be on staggered leave from September through November 2026, so sole care of both children simultaneously will gradually begin in December 2026
• The 2-year-old will start a half-day pre-K/daycare program in June 2027

Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive, engaging, and compassionate care focused entirely on the children during their awake hours
• Lead age-appropriate activities, including tummy time, reading, outdoor play, and hands-on arts and crafts
• Transport and pick up the older child from her half-day pre-K program starting in June 2027
• Perform light housekeeping during children's downtime and naps
• Maintain a safe and nurturing environment

Requirements:

• Proven nanny or childcare experience, including experience with infants and toddlers
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• CPR and First Aid certified
• Comfortable working in a home with dogs

Preferred:

• Strong professional references demonstrating reliability, trustworthiness, and exceptional communication skills

Compensation:

• $30–$32 per hour
