Position Overview

Join XTEL's Catalyst team — a dedicated group of senior implementation experts built to raise the bar on how we deliver. As a Functional Catalyst Lead, you will define, govern, and propagate the functional implementation approach for XTEL platform programs. You will work across customer projects, internal initiatives, and partner-led engagements to drive quality, accelerate deployment, and reduce unnecessary customization — while coaching teams and shaping the methodology that scales our delivery globally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Shape implementation quality — Define and promote the target functional approach for XTEL platform programs, ensuring alignment with standard capabilities, design principles, and reusable delivery patterns.

  • Drive the standard-first model — Champion XTEL's unified template-based implementation strategy; challenge unnecessary customization and propose pragmatic, scalable alternatives.

  • Support scoping and planning — Contribute to effort estimation, resource planning, functional scope definition, and statement of work inputs for customer opportunities.

  • Build and maintain methodology — Develop implementation playbooks, design guidelines, workshop materials, and training assets; convert delivery experience into reusable organizational knowledge.

  • Assure delivery quality — Provide functional oversight on strategic and partner-led implementations; review designs, scope assumptions, and solution decisions for quality and standards alignment.

  • Coach and enable teams — Guide partner consultants and internal delivery teams on expected delivery methods, design quality, and issue resolution; support onboarding and knowledge-sharing across regions.

Qualifications

  • A great candidate will have:

  • Solid background in enterprise software implementation, ideally within SaaS or enterprise business platforms

  • Deep functional expertise in one or more XTEL-relevant domains: revenue management, trade promotion management, pricing, planning, or related CPG business processes

  • Strong understanding of the end-to-end implementation lifecycle — from discovery and design through to deployment and hypercare

  • Demonstrated ability to lead requirements workshops, functional design sessions, and solution definition activities

  • Proven experience creating implementation templates, playbooks, and reusable delivery artifacts

  • Strong communication and facilitation skills with customers, internal teams, and partners; ability to influence toward standard, value-driven design choices

Nice to have:

  • Experience in CPG, revenue management, or adjacent commercial transformation environments

  • Background in delivery assurance or partner-led program governance

  • Advanced business or consulting credentials (e.g., MBA, management consulting background)

Geographical Location:

  • US or Canada, Full Remote
