POSITION PURPOSEĀ
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic advisor to regional leadership, aligningĀ peopleĀ strategies with businessĀ objectivesĀ to drive performance, engagement, and organizational effectiveness.Ā This role partners closely with operations and corporate stakeholders to deliver talent solutions across workforce planning, employee relations, talent development, and organizational design, while ensuring compliance and mitigating risk. The HRBP leverages data-driven insights to inform decisionĀ making and leads the execution of key HR initiatives that support a high-performance, safety-focused, and continuousĀ improvementĀ culture.Ā

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESĀ
Develops, recommends, and implements HR policies and procedures; educates and trains employees, line leaders, and functional managers on policy administration, ensuring consistent andĀ equitableĀ application across the organization.Ā Ā
Serves as a valued member of the regional senior leadership team, acting as a trusted advisor and strategic business partner to the RVP and regional leadership. Acts as a liaison between regional operations, Corporate HR, andĀ SeniorĀ leadership,Ā representingĀ HR in regional initiatives and projects.Ā Ā
Supports regional recruiting efforts for exempt and non-exempt roles by partnering with hiring managers and recruiting teams to effectivelyĀ utilizeĀ resources and driveĀ timelyĀ hiring. Collaborates with regional training teams to enhance onboarding and new hire experience.Ā Ā
Partners with regional leadership on talent management, employee engagement, and succession planning initiatives.Ā IdentifiesĀ skill gaps and supports development through training, coaching, and rotational opportunities.Ā Ā
Participates in and supports enterprise-wide HR initiatives, includingĀ benefitsĀ communication and enrollment, performance review cycles, program rollouts, policy updates, reorganizations, and mergers & acquisitions integration.Ā Ā
ManagesĀ all aspects of employee relations within the region, including conducting investigations, resolving complex workplace issues, drafting EEOC position statements, andĀ representingĀ the company in unemployment hearings and other agency proceedings.Ā Ā
Utilizes data and workforce analytics (turnover, retention, engagement, labor trends) to provide insights and drive informed business decisions.Ā
Partners with leadership to support organizational design, workforce planning, and labor cost management in a seasonal, operations-driven environment.Ā
EnsuresĀ compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, proactively mitigating risk to the organization.Ā Ā
Promotes a strong culture of continuous improvement and delivers high-quality HR support with a customer service mindset to leaders and employees at all levels.Ā Ā

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCEĀ
Bachelorās degreeĀ inĀ HumanĀ Resources,Ā Business Administration,Ā orĀ related fieldĀ Ā
7-10Ā yearsāĀ experienceĀ (2+ yearsāĀ progressive experience as a strategicĀ HRĀ partnerĀ in a manufacturing or industrial multi-state, multi-siteĀ environmentĀ andĀ 5+ yearsā experience managing field HR for both sales and manufacturing, operations, and distribution/delivery teamsĀ
MasterāsĀ degreeĀ preferred (MBA or HR RelatedĀ preferred)Ā
PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCPĀ preferredĀ

SKILLS & ABILITIESĀ
IntermediateĀ expertiseĀ with an HRIS system (Workday is preferred)
StrongĀ communicationĀ skillsĀ (verbalĀ and written)Ā
Strong commitment to continuous process improvement and customer service for all employeesĀ
IntermediateĀ expertiseĀ in the MS Office Suite with an emphasis on Excel report building, PowerPoint presentation creation, and WordĀ
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITYĀ
This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSĀ
Remote-based role requiring residence within Southern or Central California to support business and regional partnerships
Work is performed in a typical office environment and may require standing, bending, lifting boxes, and packages under 10 lbs., sitting forĀ long periodsĀ of time, and driving between locations
Manufacturing environment subject to extreme changes in temperature
25% travelĀ requiredĀ
On-call availability,Ā weekendĀ and evening work requiredĀ as neededĀ
