Maintenance Technician

JOB SUMMARY

Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance repairs, and Facility maintenance activities.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1.    Understand and comply with all OSHA, safety and PPE requirements;
2.    Understand and comply with all ISO and environmental requirements.
3.    Supports the team in operational improvements.
4.    Mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting, upkeep and preventive maintenance on cold/hot stamp presses, robots, laser and weld assembly equipment.
5.    Recognize and solve machine malfunctions in a timely manner.  
6.    Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment. 
7.    Prepare and set up machinery to meet production requirements.
8.    Assist in die change operations.
9.    Read and understand equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance service.
10.    Daily 5S and work area organization
11.    Computerized work order completion via Captor/SAP.
12.    Programmable Logic Control to assist with machine operations and efficiency.
13.    Support team functions by:
a.    Continuing improvements  
b.    Cross-training with others
c.    Backfills other work stations as needed
d.    Problem solving
e.    Supports operational metrics and meets operational needs 
14.    Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

1.    High School Diploma or GED
2.    Maintenance Experience (Preferred)
3.    Journeyman or comparable experience 
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

1.    Follow Standardized Work Instructions
2.    Press, Robotic and Laser Operations
3.    Machine Operations
4.    Troubleshooting
5.    Welding
