Job DescriptionāÆĀ
TheĀ Lead, Sales ExecutionĀ functions as a Chief of StaffĀ to VP of Sales, andĀ plays a strategic role in aligning sales initiatives, optimizing operational efficiency, and driving cross-functional collaboration to support revenueĀ grow.Ā This roleĀ willĀ partner with the VPĀ of SalesĀ to shape, socialize, and operationalize the AFH Sales strategy, priorities, and annual operating plan, effectivelyĀ owningĀ the Sales Leadership internal agenda and execution.Ā This roleĀ works acrossĀ all Sales teams: Distribution, Field, NationalĀ accounts/Noncommercial,Ā and Chains and in connection with all support functions: Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain and Operations. Reporting to the VP of Sales,Ā this position is part of the Sales Leadership Team.Ā This role has 5 direct reports.Ā Aligned with Kraft Heinz values, this position will lead the following end-to-end processes for all AFH:āÆĀ
āÆEssential Functions & Responsibilities āÆāÆĀ
1) Strategic Planning & Business RhythmĀ Ā
Serve as a thought partner to the VPāframing issues, structuring decisions, and providing concise options and recommendations.Ā
Build and manage the Sales business rhythm (weekly/monthly/quarterly cadences), ensuring the right forums, inputs, and decisions occur on time.Ā
Coordinate preparation for Quarterly Channel Reviews (QCR), Monthly Business Review (MBR), and key leadership reviews; drive pre-reads, agendas, decision logs, and follow-ups.Ā
Translate leadership direction into clear, sequenced initiatives with milestones, owners, and success metrics.Ā
Support adoption of new routines/tools by aligning training, documentation, and reinforcement mechanisms.Ā

2) Executive Support, Decision Enablement, & Continuous ImprovementĀ
Lead ad hoc strategic projects for the VP (e.g., transformation initiatives, org redesign, productivity programs, tool rollouts).Ā
Simplify ways of working byĀ identifyingĀ process gaps andĀ implementĀ improvements to increase speed, clarity, and accountability.Ā
Benchmark best practices and implement improvements to planning, execution, and communication.Ā
Establish lightweight governance for top priorities: charters, RACI, milestones, KPI tracking, and risk/issue management.Ā Ā
Coordinate special projects related to culture, engagement, onboarding, and leadership development as needed.Ā
Ā
3) Cross-Functional Alignment & Stakeholder ManagementĀ
Act as the connective point across AFH Sales and key cross functional partnersĀ Ā
Anticipate stakeholder concerns, resolve blockers, and escalate risks with proposed mitigations.Ā
Manage internal stakeholders across executive leadership team and peer set.Ā

4) Performance Management, Analytics,Ā & InsightsĀ Ā
Build andĀ maintainĀ executive-ready performance dashboards for KPIs, including working with 3rd party vendors and internal IT teams.Ā
ProvideĀ forward-looking insights: trends, root-cause analyses, scenario considerations, and āso whatā implications.Ā
Track competitive/customer dynamics and synthesize implications for the VP and leadership team.Ā
Surface risks early (customer, financial, operational, compliance, reputational) and drive structured mitigation plans.Ā
Maintain an issues log and ensure closure through clear owners, due dates, and escalation pathsāÆĀ
Ā
Expected Experience & Required SkillsāÆĀ
Seasoned and tested sales businessĀ expertiseĀ and proven business acumenāÆĀ
Intellectual curiosity coupled with analytical prowess in Microsoft ExcelĀ required;āÆĀ
Strong project management capabilities, including experience coordinating multiple projects/assignments simultaneously and completing assigned tasks accurately and onĀ a timelyĀ basisāÆĀ
Proven ability to communicate effectively to all levels of the organization and to effectively collaborate and present, including ability to manage internal stakeholdersĀ at various levelsĀ
Demonstrated self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguityāÆĀ

Work Environment & ScheduleāÆĀ
This is a Remote role, with periodic travel or visits to external locations.Ā This role requires working a salaried, exempt schedule to best execute against customer and internal expectationsāÆĀ

New Hire Base Salary Range:
$141,500.00 - $176,900.00Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
