 Location: Baptist - Jackson LocationÂ
 Schedule: Full-Time | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM | Rotating Days Off & Weekends
Pay: $14.00 – $15.00 per hour
This is a full-time, onsite, customer-facing position inside a hospital. Applicants must be able to reliably work the 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM schedule, including rotating weekends and days off.
We are looking for dependable team members who understand that working in a hospital means people are counting on you. You will interact with hospital staff while ensuring clean linen is available where and when it is needed.
Employment is contingent upon completion of all required pre-employment screening, including a background check and drug screening, in accordance with company policy and applicable law.
PURPOSE:
To provide quality service and products to our customers in a timely and professional manner.
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for filling and moving carts to assigned areas throughout the hospital. Provides a superior level of linen service in a friendly, professional, and timely manner while meeting established quality and safety standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Report to work on time and maintain excellent attendance
- Meet established hospital quality and service standards
- Follow all company and facility safety rules

- Follow directions provided by the team lead and supervisor

- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
- Provide professional and courteous service when interacting with hospital staff and customers
- Remain flexible when operational or transportation issues require work beyond the scheduled shift
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned by management
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Cross-train in other positions based on facility and operational needs
JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods, up to 12 hours when required
- Ability to push and pull wheeled clean and soiled linen carts weighing up to 800 lbs.
- Sufficient manual dexterity to build and stock linen carts
- Ability to perform frequent bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, and pulling
- Ability to accurately perform simple mathematics
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Dependable transportation and ability to report to work as scheduled
- Ability to communicate professionally and provide customer-facing service
