Location: 3300 Healthplex Pkwy, Norman, OK 73072
 Primary Shift: First Shift
Schedule Flexibility Required: Must be available to provide second-shift coverage when business needs require.

This is a full-time, onsite Linen Distribution Supervisor position. While the primary schedule is first shift, this leadership role requires flexibility to work second shift as needed to support operations and ensure adequate staffing. Applicants should apply only if they can meet this scheduling expectation.                                                                                                   

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Reports to the Regional Distribution Manager
  2. Delivers clean linen carts to all units within a hospital setting
  3. Builds carts for the following day
  4. Maintains inventory records
  5. Count and pack carts accurately with the needed quantities  
  6. Fill out paperwork accurately
  7. Correctly use handheld device and upload information
  8. Keep work area/linen room clean and place additional empty carts in their proper place
  9. Creates and manages staff schedules
  10. Supervises linen staff
  11. Collect soiled linen from designated areas and set times
  12. Accomplish daily tasks within time frame given by Management   
  13. Order linen orders and communicate with the laundry plant

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Must have reliable transportation
  2. Strong Microsoft/ computer skills 
  3. H.S. diploma or equivalent required
  4. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment 
  5. This is a customer facing position, good communication and customer service is necessary
  6. Able to take and follow directions
  7. Stand for extended periods of time
  8. Physically able to stand, lift (up to 50lbs. without assistance), push, pull, bend, kneel, twist, and move carts on wheels (up to 600+ lbs.) throughout the day
  9. Willing and able to collect and lift soiled bags throughout the facility
  10. Able to complete duties accurately and quickly
  11. Must be able to read and write English and accurately perform simple mathematics
  12. Will be required to observe all safety guidelines and recommendations
  13. Vaccinations may be required by the hospital
