 Examples of Duties:
- Patrols the City looking for graffiti and overgrown lots that are unsightly or pose a threat to the safety and security of the neighborhood.
- Reports graffiti, overgrown lots and other code violations using an industrial electronic device.
- Prepares and processes inspection reports.
- Issues violation notices.
- Removes graffiti using a variety to cleaners and equipment including a hand-held power washer.
- Manages vacant properties and overgrown lots by clearing/cleaning properties with a variety of hand-held and power tools, including boarding vacant buildings.
- Performs debris removal, cleaning, clearing of city-owned properties and rights-of-way.
- Operates push and riding lawn mowers.Â
- Performs other duties as required.
 Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and 1.5 years of work experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office or similar software.
Valid state issued driver’s license.
