Lunchtime Supervisor – Primary School


Location: Lambeth, South London
Salary: £14.24–£15.00 per hour
Contract: Part-time, long-term temporary

A welcoming primary school in Lambeth is seeking a calm and reliable Lunchtime Supervisor to help make lunchtimes safe, positive and enjoyable for every pupil. This is a rewarding part-time opportunity for someone who works well with children and can respond confidently to a busy school environment.

The school has a strong community feel and values staff who are visible, approachable and consistent. You will work as part of an established midday team, supervising pupils in the dining hall and playground.

The Lunchtime Supervisor will:


• Supervise children while they eat, play and move around the school
• Encourage good manners, positive friendships and inclusive play
• Organise simple playground games and help pupils join in
• Manage minor incidents calmly and report concerns appropriately
• Follow safeguarding, first-aid and health-and-safety procedures
• Support younger pupils with meals where needed

You will need:


• Experience working with children, ideally in a primary school
• A patient, alert and approachable manner
• Confidence managing behaviour fairly and consistently
• Excellent punctuality and reliability
• The right to work in the UK
