As a Machine Technician you will perform work within a union environment as dispatched to maintain equipment, systems, and processes to support manufacturing production.

Required Skills and Education

- Three to five years of past manufacturing experience preferably in an automotive supplier company
- Ability to check for backlash in a ball screw by using an indicator, also the removal & proper bearing set up and installation of ball screw assembly.
- Realign turret heads, spindles, chucks, etc. using indicators.
- Spindle removal, rebuild, replace.
- Ability to read blueprints (bearing stack up, hydraulic systems)
- Hydraulic Cylinder and Pump removal, rebuild, replace
- Hydraulic System troubleshooting
- Mobile Crane License and Rigging
- Ability to work well with others and in teams.
- Perform other duties as required.
Position Requirements:
- Possess a certified journeyperson’s card (or similar contractual Journeyperson status) or document a minimum of eight years of experience in specific trade from previous employers on company letterhead.
- Available to work overtime and flexible schedule as required within union facility agreement.
- Available to work any shift as required.
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical including drug testing.
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check.
